VIP Pass

Since 2006, the Harvardwood Writers Competition has been helping emerging writers gain industry exposure and recognition. Each year, alums from across the country submit fresh, new material to be judged by a panel of industry professionals. Winners in each category receive a cash award, publicity and meetings with Harvardwood industry contacts.

The contest includes three categories: 1) Feature screenplays, 2) Television pilots, and 3) Shorts.

Many writers who submit to the competition also participate in the Harvardwood Writers Program. The workshops (available in LA, New York, Washington DC and Boston) are highly collaborative, have a strict attendance policy and feature advice and notes from working professionals.

Harvardwood VIP Pass Sponsors will gain early access to the material and winners in each category. Sponsors will have a semi-exclusive, two-week first look at the winning scripts prior to the public announcement. In addition to early access, sponsors will also receive a one-year, Full Member account on Harvardwood.org, getting access to post unlimited job opportunities, publicize events, and interact with other members via the Harvardwood website.

The $2,000 sponsorship fee will go directly to support the Harvardwood Writers Program and Competition.
