WIF Speaker Series presents

"The Business of Digital: Getting Your Project Made in the Digital Age"

This panel is designed to demystify the online content space. Come hear from top mediamakers on digital business models and content formats. Learn about “digital native” studios plus the meaning of all those acronyms.  (MCN, anyone?).  Our panelists include executives who solicit, judge and monetize content; producers who have been effective in the medium; and personalities/artists who have resuscitated or launched careers there. Alum Brittany Turner AB '10 will be one of the panelists!

To date, most of the “digital native” studios that have emerged from the online video ecosystem have been very personality-focused, but the success of OTT players like Netflix and Amazon with premium, narrative content is pushing these companies to expand their own content offerings … which means they need help from the kinds of storytellers and artists like Women In Film members … and the two groups are barely speaking to each other.  Let’s get the conversation started.
