Invitation to Special Aga Khan Museum Tour, Saturday November 7th
Dear HW members,
We are pleased to invite Harvardwood Toronto members, friends, and guests to a special guided tour of the Aga Khan Museum on Saturday, November 7th, 2015, an event we are pleased to present in partnership with the Harvard Club of Toronto.
aga_khan.jpgAga Khan is a Harvard graduate, as is one of the museum's architects, Fumihiko Maki. The 10,000-square foot museum, which opened in September 2014, houses a permanent collection of 1,000 objects as well as other international exhibition collections.
Our guided one-hour tour will start at 12:30pm. Since we will be making a group booking, please RSVP below by 12pm noon on Friday, October 23rd. Please reserve your tickets early here:

$28 for adults
$15 for seniors, students and children
$10 with a museum membership
The Diwan Restaurant, which serves delicious Middle Eastern cuisine, will be open for lunch until 2:30. Option to have lunch at the museum as a group.

A Six-String History of America with historian, guitarist and singer/songwriter Jay Pilzer. He describes his most recent book, also titled A Six-String History of America, as "a series of essays that look at American history through the lens of guitars, the guitar industry, and the music made on them."
