Swan Lake tells the story of enchanted love between a swan maiden and a prince and their battle with an evil sorcerer. The poetry of this timeless ballet is the swan, embodied in every note of Tchaikovsky’s majestic score. Romantic, passionate, tragic and elegant, this great ballet speaks deeply and universally to audiences everywhere.

Elizabeth Claire Walker AB '11
Elizabeth Walker trained at the Ballet School of Stamford and JKO School at ABT before joining Los Angeles Ballet as an inaugural company member in 2006. The following year, she began her studies at Harvard University, continuing a freelance dance career while earning her college degree. She was the 2011 recipient of the Suzanne Farrell Dance Prize for Outstanding Artistry in the Field of Dance upon graduation. Since returning to Los Angeles Ballet that year, Elizabeth has performed leading roles in the Balanchine, classical, and contemporary repertory, leading to her recent promotion to the rank of soloist, and guesting opportunities with Boston Ballet and the Vail Dance Festival.
