Art Dept Virtual Workshop

This virtual workshop run by two current art department professionals is your chance to get the latest advice and guidance on starting your art department career.

This course is aimed at our Stage 1 and 2 members.

The workshop is 90 minute long, delivered via Zoom, will give you the fundamentals of the art department, from entry level roles, where to find them to the role of unions.

This is meant to be an interactive format so please come prepared with questions you've always had about working in the film industry.

Eligibility

Anyone can attend regardless of prior film industry experience or knowledge.

The only strict requirement we have is you must be 18 years of age or older.

This workshop is ideal for:

those who may never have been on set

career changers interested in knowing more about a potential new start in the film industry

those that have had experience on shorts and student films

or even those with several professional credits wanting to meet more industry professionals to seek advice

You do NOT need to be a member of My First Job in Film to attend the day.
