Profile:
A native of Boston, Stacey Collins is a freelance journalist. Her work has appeared in publications such as Variety, the LA Times, and Creative Screenwriting. She teaches short fiction at Santa Monica College and trains in improv at Upright Citizens Brigade and Westside Comedy Theater.

As Director of Harvardwood Career Connections, she launched the inaugural Mentorship Program, matching members with professionals in a desired field; facilitates the Career Advisor Program, which arranges informational interviews; and provides online resources on career trends. Her background as the administrator for the Office of Career Services helped prepare her for this role. She worked full-time at OCS while earning her Ed.M. with a concentration in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy.

Her involvement with Harvardwood has included many facets. She has written profile articles for the Highlights newsletter, produced the first-ever television pilot showcase, and currently facilitates the Harvardwood cold reading series for comedy writers.
