Paula J. Caplan's multi-awardwinning, 50-minute documentary will be screened in the American Stories/Forgotten Voices program of Spotlight On!'s Rise of the Phoenix festival (Spotlighton.org). It is the story of one woman's journey across the chasm that so often divides veterans from nonveterans and is unhealthy for people from both groups and for the nation. Veterans who have seen it say, "THIS is what I want my loved ones -- and the nation -- to know," and nonveterans say it humanizes veterans for them. Humanizing is always good, yes? The trailer and other info are at isanybodylisteningmovie.org Also included in the program are Cynthia Granville's 8-minute dramatic film, "In Memoriam," about a veteran and his daughter and Matthew Widman's very short play, STOP AND FRISK. Q&A with filmmakers and playwright will follow.

The Wild Project is at 195 East 3rd St. between Avenue A and Avenue B.   Tickets are only $10. for seniors and veterans with ID.
