Spellbinding storyteller, 100-year-old, African-American Isaac Pope takes us through 100 years of American history through the microcosm of his remarkable life. Grandson of enslaved people and son of sharecroppers, he's an unsung hero of the first Black unit the Army allowed to go into battle and the first to win a Presidential Citation for Meritorious Service. Working as a janitor at DuPont in the Jim Crow South, he quietly and tirelessly worked with the NAACP as a volunteer, walking picket lines and registering voters in the early 1960s, bravely advocating for the labor union, sustained through many losses by his faith, by love, and by music.  Awardwinning Producer Paula J. Caplan '69's documentary is already an Official Selection in 3 film festivals. Trailer and more info at isaacpopefilm.com
