Amazon will debut Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, from Paramount Television and Skydance Television, next year on Amazon Prime Video. The one-hour, eight-episode dramatic series stars John Krasinski (13 Hours, The Office) as Jack Ryan, as well as Wendell Pierce (The Wire) as James Greer and Abbie Cornish (Limitless) as Cathy Mueller.
It is executive produced by Carlton Cuse AB '81 (Lost, Bates Motel) who also serves as the showrunner, Krasinski and Graham Roland (Almost Human), who wrote the pilot based on a story he and Cuse developed. The series is also executive produced by Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, and Andrew Form (Transformers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), as well as Skydance’s David Ellison (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Star Trek Beyond), Dana Goldberg (World War Z, Star Trek Into Darkness) and Marcy Ross (Grace and Frankie, Altered Carbon), along with Mace Neufeld (Patriot Games, Clear and Present Danger, The Sum of All Fears and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit) and co-executive producer Lindsey Springer. Jack Ryan is a reinvention with a modern sensibility of the famed and lauded Tom Clancy hero, a character with a star-filled Hollywood history.
