Seeking Casting Director for Harvardwood Showcase

Harvardwood is looking for pro-bono casting help for our August Showcase of Harvardwood Writers and Actors. We will draw from a dedicated pool of Harvardwood Actors, "Friends of Harvardwood," and outside recommendations - and we need help making the selections. There will 5-9 pilots (12-20 pages each) presented in the showcase, casting will take place over 2-3 sessions during the last week of June and the first week of July. Please lend us your expertise! Seeking Authors for Harvardwood Books

AUTHORS WANTED. Harvardwood Books is seeking manuscripts for publication!

This collaboration between Harvardwood and Unlimited Publishing LLC offers writers the chance to get their non-fiction or fiction books into print - and there is no charge. Harvardwood Books offers national distribution of hardcover and paperback books and the chance for authors to earn royalties. Unpublished and previously published books are eligible for consideration.

CT Harvard Clubs Interested in Arts-related Events

The Harvard Clubs in Connecticut would be interested in organizing events for their members in conjunction with local performances by Harvardwood members and Harvard alumni. Successful past events have included post-performance receptions with musicians, cast members, and playwrights; gallery openings and film premières. Meet-and-greets with notable alumni filming in CT are also of interest to the clubs. Seeking Space for Harvardwood Panel Events - NYC

Dear Harvardwood NYC Members:

We are in search of a location to host upcoming panel events, either a room in a members club or a corporate auditorium that would seat at least 50.

For next month, we are seeking a space to hold a panel featuring alumni editors from top glossy magazines on a Saturday afternoon in November.

Of course the host organization will be credited for its donation of space. We can also work with you to invite members of your organization to attend.

Harvardwood Video - seeking HDMI editing suite

Do any Harvardwood folks out there own (or have access to) an HDMI (high-definition multimedia interface) computer cable and/or HDMI-level editing suite? We are in the process of adding video content to the Harvardwood website and have access to an HD camera (Sony Handycam HDR-HC7) but need some way to post-produce the HD video.
