EXTENDED DEADLINE - Apply for a $500 Heroes grant by Dec. 12th!

Community service volunteers, you have an EXTENSION to apply for a $500 Harvardwood Heroes grant! The extended deadline is Friday, December 12, 2014, and applications are open to all Harvard students, alumni, staff, and faculty.

Launched in 2013, the Harvardwood Heroes (HH) grant program aims to spotlight and support Harvard students, alumni, staff, and faculty who have made or plan to make an exceptional contribution to the community. Our Heroes exemplify the mission of Harvardwood, demonstrating the power and purpose of the arts, media, and entertainment.

Applicants can engage in any type of community service initiative, although priority will be given to arts-related projects.

These grants are awarded annually, and grants can be spent at the winner's discretion.
