Join Michelle R. Jackson '09 for dinner and a screening of her film, "Another Slave Narrative." There will be an engaging post-discussion with cast and director regarding the intersections of religion, race, gender, and slavery in the US. 

"Another Slave Narrative" is the first to feature a multiracial cast that reenacts the original transcripts of federal interviews of ex-slaves in the 1930s. It won first place at the 2017 African American Women in Cinema Film Festival and was featured in the Huffington Post. Michelle would love to have her Harvardwood community join the discussion.
