This year, as the pandemic ground on and fractured life as we know it, many of us fondly remembered our college experience and felt terrible for the undergrads whose experience is being disrupted. But what could we do?

We have many musicians in our Harvardwood community - some professional, some avocational. Cooped up at home and frustrated at not being able to play with others in person, we came up with the idea to put together a virtual band to record a message to let students know we are thinking about them.

This was a labor of love, and both a logistical and technical challenge, from finding musicians to arranging the music, to ensuring that the tracks were in sync, to mixing and editing both audio and video. It was a fun process, and we hope you enjoy the result!
