The Harvardwood Writers Program - TV (NYC) invites you to a reading of three sitcom pilots written by emerging writers from our fall TV writing module: Anusha Deshpande, Hillary Berkowitz Nussbaum, and Ying Li.
A cast of actors will bring to life this trio of original scripts, each of which offers up its own comedic take on themes of friendship, self-discovery, and life in NYC. Admission is free (RSVP below).

The Best and The Brightest, by Anusha Deshpande - Three recent Harvard graduates in New York City struggle with the transition from the top of the class to the bottom of the professional totem pole.Team Players, by Hillary Berkowitz Nussbaum - Twentysomethings on an underdog intramural softball team band together to face curveballs in their careers, friendships, and romantic relationships, both on and off the field.
Friendology, by Ying Li - A misanthropic journalist sets out to investigate a business that helps adults find their BFFs, but ends up having to take over the business and become a "friendologist" herself.
