Join us on National Public Lands Day to celebrate the benefits of our public lands by repairing trails and beautifying our backyard forest.
Lunch and free volunteer stewardship t-shirts from REI will be provided for volunteers!
Please remember to:
- Bring work or garden gloves, if possible.
- Bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle.
- Wear long sleeve shirts and pants.
- Wear sturdy, non-skid, closed toe-shoes.
Ages sixteen and above recommended. Adult supervision of children is required.

Directions
From the 210 Fwy, take Exit 20 CA-2 N (Angeles Crest Hwy) toward La Canada Flintridge. Proceed ~13.9 miles to Mt. Wilson Red Box Road. Turn right and follow signs to the Observatory for ~5 miles.
