Come to the Harvard Science Center Arcade (immediately past the entrance) for a fun afternoon of cross-cultural art brought to you by the Harvard Arts in Reflection Program! Talented college students from across the United States and China will showcase their works, with illustrious judges George Fifield, Hugh O'Donnell and Toni Pepe in attendance. A delightful assortment of Chinese refreshments will be available courtesy of Tom's BaoBao.

  • George Fifield - Founding Director of Boston Cyberarts, an international Festival of artists working in new technologies in the arts, including visual arts, music, dance, theatre, etc; media curator, writer about art and technology, teacher.
  • Hugh O'Donnell - Painter of many artworks that have been published in private and public collections, such as The Guggenheim, MoMa, Metropolitan Museum in NYC. 
  • Toni Pepe - Artist & Professor at Boston University; a photographer who employs interdisciplinary sources such as literature, neuroscience, and cinma to address the concepts of identity, narrative, gender, and memory.

HARP (Harvard Arts in Reflection Program) is a 5-day conference on Harvard campus, fostering vital dialogues among participants who are pursuing the artsin various ways, including as a hobby, an area of study, or a career. The conference curates a series of panel discussions, enriching workshops, peer critiques, and creative challenges to nurture and celebrate students’ talents in the arts. Participants will gain insight from prominent figures and international visionaries across various art industries, collaborate on projects that promote a cultural exchange of ideas, and engage in exploring the arts from fresh perspectives.
