Bluegrass! Blues! Art! It's Our Fabulous Harvardwood Summer Party!

Yes! Summer's here and it's time to PARTY! Join some of the best looking, most intelligent, most talented, and sexiest people in New York--your fellow Harvardwood members, of course--for an evening of cutting edge art, bluegrass, blues, and general fun!

Our host is Harvardwood member Gregory de la Haba, artist-in-residence at the Jack the Pelican gallery in trendy Williamsburg. A heady mix of blues and bluegrass will be provided by the amazing duo of fiddler Susan Ruel and guitarist Bob Malenky. Susan, a Harvard grad, leads the Ruel String Band and has performed at Delta Grille, Jacques-Imo's NYC, and assorted other venues, including several benefits for Katrina survivors. Bob Malenky recorded with Roosevelt Sykes, recorded and toured with Sonny Terry, and was mentored by Muddy Waters and Lightnin' Hopkins. Together, they're going to make some incredible music!

Gregory, in addition to hosting the party, will provide beer. Everyone attending is asked to bring something to eat or drink for the party. (Things to eat will be especially appreciated!)

It's free but registration is required.
