Join Harvardwood for a conversation with Annie Julia Wyman PhD '17!
The co-creator of the Netflix hit The Chair, Annie Julia Wyman has created or written for the executive producers of Game of Thrones, Mrs. America, Seinfeld, Fargo, Reservation Dogs, What We Do In The Shadows, Station Eleven, and more. She is currently a writer-producer on The Immigrant, a limited series for Hulu starring Kumail Nanjiani, and is also developing an original series for FX.
Annie is a former editor for McSweeney's and her nonfiction and criticism have appeared widely, including in Vice, n+1, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and the New Yorker. She holds a MA/PhD from Harvard and a BA/MA from Stanford and has taught at Harvard, Bard and Claremont McKenna College. She has also worked as a translator of the work of Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben.
