Please take a moment to view Garp (West) a feature film shot on the gorgeous coast of southern Turkey and co-written by Emre Mirza and Effie-Michelle Metallidis ('06).

Based on a true story, Garp (West) follows the relationship between Soraya, an Iraqi woman fleeing to Europe, and Yannis, the eccentric Greek who rescues her off the coast of the Aegean Sea.  A cast of colorful and local characters peppers the plot with comic twists as Yannis and Soraya struggle between giving in to their newfound connection or living separate dreams of paradise.
