The Human Rights Foundation asserts that half the world’s population lives under authoritarianism. What can storytellers, filmmakers, and artists do to push back against oppression and create positive change in the world?
You're invited to join the Moving Picture Institute's human rights-based screening and masterclass on March 14th at 7pm. Featuring a sneak peak screening of the first five episodes of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation's "Witness Project" mini-documentary series (produced by Smock Media) and special bonus clips, the panel will discuss how filmmakers can amplify the work of human rights activists worldwide.
