Join Harvardwood, Harvard Business School (HBS), and World of Dreams on Feb. 26th at 12pm PST / 3pm EST...
...for a new event discussing building a resilient business that can simultaneously help us solve global social crises.
It’s tough to launch and grow successful businesses when the world is changing at warp speed.
We spent decades teaching MBAs and Executives at HBS how to use business analytics to design and build lean, agile businesses. But the current global health crisis and its resulting economic and social justice crises have challenged us to build resilient businesses that leverage the resources and capabilities of an ecosystem of partners that share a common vision, purpose and values.
Leading this discussion are Harvard Business School’s Baker Foundation Professor, Lynda Applegate; Dev Pragad, CEO of Newsweek; & World of Dreams CEO and Founder, Ron DeShay.
After a short introduction of key frameworks, we will discuss a new HBS case study: World of Dreams Entertainment Group: Building a Resilient Business. In addition to illustrating how DeShay is positioning World of Dreams to transform the Entertainment and Media industry, the case also provides an example of how to address the Social Justice crisis by providing a platform for developing shared vision, purpose, and values as we work together to Build a Better World.
“This is the most important and meaningful case study of my career. It has also been the most fun.” Lynda Applegate, Harvard Business School Professor
