Paul Oakley Stovall, who plays George Washington in the first national tour of Hamilton: The Musical by Lin Manuel-Miranda, will offer a theater workshop to undergraduate actors and directors, featuring scenes from upcoming student productions with BlackCAST and First-Year Musical. Stovall will share professional insights to hone the in-progress scenes – and observers are welcome. A conversation will follow. Stovall, who is based in Chicago, is a multi-hyphenate artist – singer, actor, playwright, filmmaker and staff writer for Season 4 of the STARZ network hit comedy Survivor’s Remorse. This event is free and open to the public. All are welcome.
