'Brothers from time to time' is my history of the Cuban revolution as told through the experiences of Emi and Adolfo Rivero, two brothers who took part in the main events.
For years the brothers were mortal enemies but eventually came to be on the same side. Their story is the saga of a nation; their experiences contain vital episodes that the official histories have omitted.
This work had a long road to publication. Reviews have been unanimously positive. Most striking is an essay in The Washington Times whose author saw fit to invoke two Russian novels: The Brothers Karamazov and Doctor Zhivago.
