The Bloodless Jungle, a full-length political drama by Peter Lawson Jones AB '85, JD '80, will debut in New York City on Sunday, October 16th, 3:00 pm at the Joseph P. Kennedy Community Center, 34 West 134th Street. Shades of Truth Theatre and Voza Rivers/New Heritage Theatre Group are producing this staged reading, which Nora Cole will direct.
The play premiered at Ensemble Theatre in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, earlier this month and received a reading over Labor Day weekend as part of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts 15th Annual Page to Stage Festival. TBJ will enjoy another reading on February 26th at the Dallas Convention Center as part of the Black Academy of Arts and Letter's Playwright Spotlight Series.
